Aalto glass vase like never seen before
Iittala celebrates Alvar Aalto’s 125th birthday with a limited edition of 1000 numbered pieces of the iconic Aalto glass vase in gradient grey.
The limited edition vase comes in the rarer 140mm size. It is mouth-blown with a wooden mould in the Iittala Glass Factory in Finland taking seven craftspeople a total of thirty hours to produce each vase.
This is the first time Iittala has used its glass colour expertise to introduce a gradient colour scheme to the Aalto vase. Darker shades of grey line the bottom of the vase and gradually become clearer towards the top. All of the vases are unique both in terms of shape details and colouring, making them an actual work of art.
Limited edition of 1000 numbered pieces:
Available for as long as the stock lasts.
Available 16th of October
