Design History Milestone: Josef Frank’s 140th Birth Anniversary
Josef Frank, (1885 – 1967) a prominent Swedish-Austrian designer, was born in 1885 and is known for his innovative furniture and textiles. January 21, 2025 marks his 140th anniversary. Frank was a central figure in Swedish design, and his works, including the “Liljevalchs sofa” and various textiles, continue to be popular today.
