Sika Design relaunches Nanna Ditzel’s 1973 Agraves outdoor lounge chair under the new name Coco
The chair’s design originates from a simple geometric concept: the circle.
Viewed from above, the lounge chair reveals a sequence of rounded lines that define both its visual character and structural framework.
The circular form inspired the name Coco, reflecting the chair’s playful yet precise composition. The open construction creates an airy presence where curved lines guide the body into comfortable positions for extended sitting. The design allows natural elements—sunlight, shadows, and surrounding movement—to interact with the chair’s structure.
Coco balances geometric clarity with ergonomic softness, offering functional seating for outdoor environments. The lounge chair serves spaces designed for rest and conversation, maintaining Nanna Ditzel’s approach to combining structural precision with human-centered comfort in outdoor furniture design.
