Folkform and Örsjö Extend the Hand-Pleated Lamp Series
Örsjö Belysning has extended Folkform’s Plissé table lamp with a new color for 2026: Pale Blue.
The shade is hand-pleated by the Örsjö family, continuing the small-scale Swedish craftsmanship that has defined the lamp since its launch.

Plissé is a textile table lamp designed by the Stockholm-based duo Folkform — Anna Holmqvist and Chandra Ahsell. The lamp was recognized as Lighting of the Year 2022 by the Swedish design magazine Residence, which described it as a sophisticated jewel of light that brings the somewhat neglected handcraft of pleating to the fore in a contemporary setting.
For Folkform, collaboration with small-scale Swedish producers is central to their practice. Their work consistently highlights place, cultural heritage, and the craft behind each object — positioning it as a considered alternative to mass production. Örsjö Belysning, based in Småland, is a family-run lighting manufacturer with deep roots in Swedish craft tradition.
