We are pleased that we have once again succeeded in creating two unique products, says Dag Hjelle, CEO of LK Hjelle. Thursday, November 6th, he was in Stockholm where LK Hjelle together with Norway Says launched the Duo sofa and Hotel chair. Different in form and function, but both something new in relation to what we have previously seen from LK Hjelle and Norway Says.

The Hotel chair has a clear form with simple lines. That’s what gives the chair such a strong character, says Dag Hjelle. Torbjørn Anderssen, designer at Norway Says, describes the Hotel chair as a neat, light and comfortable chair. – With a shell that runs around and over itself, Hotel looks like a mixture of a crustacean and an Escher image.

The Duo sofa offers many possibilities, not least in open landscapes, where noise and disturbances are a challenge for many. With its acoustic properties, Duo is an exciting, smart and beautiful problem solution.

Duo is a sofa that you can fold up around you, just like you turn up the collar on your jacket. The double height shields against noise and disturbances and creates an intimate space for focus, meetings or relaxation. In the unfolded position, the sofa functions as a room divider and as a sound-absorbing element for the surrounding environment, says Andersen.
