The Bubble Chair was designed by professor Eero Aarnio in 1968 and it has since become an iconic and timeless piece for its delicate looks.
The see-through shell makes it look light as air, when in reality the Bubble is made strong, holding up to 200 kgs.
Adapting to the seasons, the Bubble chair is suitable for both indoors and outdoors, making it an astounding and versatile design piece.
The hanging Bubble chair is made from acrylic and solid stainless steel, and is available in 7 different leather options.
This summer we introduce an updated version of the subtle and soft brown Mocca leather – Savanne Walnut 30322 by Sørensen Leather.

”I was searching for an idea of a transparent ball that lets light in from all directions. Acrylic can be heated and blown into a shape like a soap bubble, and I knew that dome-shaped skylights were made this way. I contacted a manufacturer and asked if it would be possible to blow a bubble big enough for my chair. They said yes,” …and the rest is history.
