The Zanat Ten product collection

On the occasion of Zanat’s 10th anniversary, we invited our design partners to create a collection of small objects that celebrate the meeting of craft, heritage, and contemporary design.

The result is a collection of 12 unique objects, each reflecting the creative language of its author while carrying the imprint of Zanat’s hand-carving tradition—recognized by UNESCO as part of humanity’s intangible cultural heritage.

Designers Yves Behar, Ilse Crawford, Monica Förster, Naoto Fukasawa, Sebastian Herkner, Harri Koskinen, Michele De Lucchi, Jean-Marie Massaud, Jasna Mujkić, Patrick Norguet, Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, and Wingårdhs have each contributed to this anniversary collection.

These works are not just functional objects; they are tokens of a decade-long journey in which Zanat has established itself as an international design brand rooted in the cultural fabric of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Together, they embody Zanat’s vision for the next decade, where the preservation of tradition and the pursuit of innovation remain inseparable.

Together, we shape objects that go beyond their function. They carry a fertile story: the one written between man, the hand, and the material. Kika bowl is a small example of the stories we tell together.”

“To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Zanat brand, I imagined this mysterious yet functional object. Perhaps an ethnic sculpture? A trophy from a vanished tribe? None of the above. I chose to design an object related to books, a bookend showcasing the craftsmanship of the park. Assembled and disassembled, the combination of two forms, which together form a totem, and when separated, perform their function. The combination of wood and stone: an earthly and symbolic force.”
