Tilt is a chair challenging the rule of not tilting chairs while you sit.
But almost everyone does it, so why not make a chair that can endure it?
The ordinary chair will sooner or later break. Tilt was awarded the prestigious “Furniture of the year” by Sköna Hem design magazine (at the Stockholm Furniture Fair) 2006.
Since then it has taken part in several exhibitions and gained a lot of appreciation throughout the world. It seems that disobedient behaviour is global. The chair was designed in 2003 and produced from 2005.
The chair is made from FSC®-certified birch. It is offered as standard in clear lacquer, white, or black, and is also available in any custom color on request.
