Bebó Objects opened a temporary showroom at Runebergsgatan 7 in Stockholm from 7 to 25 February 2022, coinciding with Stockholm Design Week.
The space functioned as an appointment-based venue where visitors could see the company’s objects in a dedicated setting outside the main fair environment.
The decision to stage a temporary showroom during design week reflects a format that has become increasingly relevant for smaller, curated design brands — a concentrated, controlled presentation with a specific address and a defined period, rather than a stand at a larger trade event.
For Bebó Objects, a Stockholm-based company with a selective roster of designers and a focused product portfolio, the temporary space offered direct contact with press, buyers, and design professionals during one of the year’s most active periods in the Swedish design calendar.
Bebó Objects was founded in 2021 and works with a group of designers that includes David Ericsson, Pierre Sindre, Daniel Enoksson, and Notchi Architects, among others. The company’s approach emphasises well-resolved objects with considered material choices, produced in limited ranges that are developed incrementally rather than presented as large seasonal collections. Since its founding, Bebó Objects has built a portfolio that spans seating, shelving, tables, and accessories, with work presented at Stockholm Design Week and through gallery and showroom contexts.
Stockholm Design Week takes place annually in February, organised around the Stockholm Furniture Fair at Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö.
