Enno is a desk designed by David Ericsson for Atelier Sandemar.

The piece is handcrafted in Atelier Sandemar’s workshops, with an emphasis on material quality and attention to detail that is characteristic of the manufacturer’s approach.

The desk is built on legs of solid birch or oak, and the surface is finished in linoleum — a durable, natural material that develops a particular quality over time and suits both domestic and office environments.

A detail that distinguishes Enno from a standard desk is the natural linen webbing incorporated into the design as a storage element. The webbing introduces a tactile and visually distinct surface alongside the linoleum top, providing a practical place to keep frequently used items accessible without cluttering the work surface itself. It is a considered solution that adds function while contributing to the character of the piece.

The combination of materials — solid wood, linoleum and linen — reflects Atelier Sandemar’s commitment to natural, honest materials that age well and reward sustained use. Each contributes something different to the whole: the wood provides structural warmth, the linoleum a resilient and smooth working surface, and the linen webbing a softness and informality that prevents the desk from reading as purely functional.
