Introducing Vev: A stackable chair that brings wovendetail into everyday spaces

Meet Vev, Northern’s new dining chair series that pairsmodern minimalism with time‑honored weaving craft. Itssimple steel frame uses minimal material while cradling 110meters of hand-woven paper rope for a natural look andoutstanding comfort. Named after the Norwegian word for“weave,” Vev blends tradition with modern needs: a strong silhouette, small footprint, and easy mobility.

Both the side chair and armchair are stackable—six highwithout a trolley—and lightweight, making them perfect fortight homes, lively cafés, or modern office spaces. Offeredin two finishes (matte black base with deep brown rope orwarm grey-beige base with natural rope), Vev features arecognizable silhouette and strong character, seamlesslyfitting into private and public spaces alike.
