The new Humlan coffee tables expand NC’s celebrated collection with two elegant options: the minimalist Humlan 773 and the Humlan 774 with an additional lower shelf 31 cm from the floor. Standing 59 cm tall with a 120 cm width, these tables feature the collection’s signature soft, rounded forms that beautifully break up angular spaces. Crafted from FSC-certified birch and oak with Möbelfakta certification, they’re available in natural finishes, standard white or black stains, or custom colors. Choose from birch veneer, oak veneer, birch laminate, or white laminate for the tabletop. These versatile pieces complement the entire Humlan family of sofas, armchairs, and chairs, completing Eva Schildt’s vision of inclusive, inviting furniture.
Eva Schildt
Designer and decorator born in Stockholm in 1974. For NC, Eva has designed the serving trolley Julia with the associated tray and the seating furniture series Humlan.
Eva is educated at Beckmans Skola’s Formlinje and since graduating in 2001 has run a design studio based in Stockholm and for a year in Tokyo. In addition to NC, Eva has collaborated with, among others, Design House Stockholm, IKEA, Svenskt Tenn, Nola, Klong, Skandium in London as well as several Japanese companies.
Eva’s work is represented at the National Museum in Stockholm and the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg and has been awarded on several occasions with prizes – Excellent Swedish Form, Elle Deco Edida Design Awards, Wallpaper Design Award and Stora Formexpriset.
