Fredericia now offers Jasper Morrison’s Jota Lounge Collection with a new design option: leg-based frames.

The addition includes the Jota Lounge Chair, Jota Sofa 2-seater, and Jota Sofa 3-seater on legs—featuring visible solid pine frames finished in light oil, clear lacquer, or black lacquer.

The legs create visual separation from the floor while simplifying maintenance — a practical refinement for hospitality and contemporary residential use.

The upholstered components maintain the refined proportions that define the original collection, with seating depth and armrest height calibrated for extended comfort.

Jasper Morrison’s interpretation of the Jota collection honors Børge Mogensen’s legacy while introducing a softer, more inviting contemporary aesthetic. Clean lines combine with refined upholstery suitable for both home and hospitality settings.

Morrison, known for minimalist elegance and uncompromising comfort, previously contributed the Taro and Pon tables to Fredericia. His collaborative approach—understanding production realities while maintaining design clarity—results in pieces with lasting appeal.

The collection, originally previewed at 3daysofdesign in 2024, now offers expanded options that serve different spatial and functional needs. This approach reflects Fredericia’s philosophy: supporting contemporary designers while stewarding design heritage.
