Audo Copenhagen introduces Nonna, a new collection of table lamps designed by Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen
Taking its name from the Italian word for grandmother, Nonna is an homage to memory, familiarity and form.
The lamps draw inspiration from the quiet presence of heritage interiors – spaces that balanced softness and structure, intimacy and intention.
Offered in three sculptural sizes – H24 with a brushed aluminium base, H30 and H49 with solid travertine – each lamp is topped with a subtly textured, sandcoloured textile shade that diffuses light with warmth and elegance. Designed for narrow spaces, they fit naturally on windowsills, bookshelves or console tables.
“With Nonna, we sought to capture a sense of timelessness – something that feels immediately familiar, yet visually balanced in a way that feels new,” say Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen. “It’s about contrasts – between materials, eras and emotions – reimagined with restraint and clarity.”
Each lamp features a discreet on/off switch and matching cord, with E27 sockets supporting LED light sources.
Nonna continues Audo’s commitment to quiet design: pieces that bring mood and meaning to the spaces we inhabit.
About the Designer
The Copenhagen-based design studio Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen creates furniture and interior objects for clients across the world. Founded in 2016 by Mads Sætter-Lassen and Emil Krøyer, their honest approach to design results in logical, functional and sculptural objects that showcase their strong cultural understanding and Danish design heritage to bridge the gap between art and design. Krøyer and Sætter-Lassen’s honest focus is revealed through their consideration of material properties and tectonic details. They prefer to make the conscious choice of turning a joint or assembly into a visible design asset instead of concealing it -keeping true to the industrial way.
