Audo is proud to officially launch the Nook Table series – a restrained and versatile collection
by Copenhagen-based design studio Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen. First previewed at 3daysofdesign, Nook now makes its formal debut, bringing understated elegance and versatility to a wide range of spaces and settings.
Taking its name from the architectural idea of a nook — a smaller space within a larger whole — the collection offers a refined take on the classic café table silhouette, with a deep sensitivity to proportion, material and setting. At once architectural and approachable, each table in the collection is designed to support conversation, comfort and creativity through its clean form and thoughtful proportions.
“We wanted to create something familiar yet heightened — a table that disappears just enough to let the materials and setting speak,” say designers Emil Krøyer and Mads Sætter-Lassen. “Nook isn’t about grand gestures. It’s about refinement, balance and making room for life.”
Available in four heights — Lounge, Dining, Counter and Bar — Nook is conceived as a flexible furniture solution for both residential and contract environments. The gently tapered central stem and four-star steel base offer quiet structural clarity. Powder-coated in three sophisticated finishes, Olive, Ivory and Black have the ability to recede or accentuate, depending on context. The base resists weather and wear, allowing for both indoor and outdoor use.
Nook is compatible with Audo’s series of tabletops in Ø60 cm, Ø80 cm and 60 x 70 cm dimensions. Surface options include Kunis Breccia stone, Estremoz marble, Ceramic, Black Painted Oak and Charcoal Linoleum — a refined material language that invites both contrast and cohesion.
At once modest and intentional, the Nook Table Series is designed to support a range of spatial rhythms — from the slow pace of a morning coffee to the quiet utility of a shared workspace. Its form is deliberate, its purpose universal.
About the Designer
The Copenhagen-based design studio Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen creates furniture and interior objects for clients across the world. Founded in 2016 by Mads Sætter-Lassen and Emil Krøyer, their honest approach to design results in logical, functional and sculptural objects that showcase their strong cultural understanding and Danish design heritage to bridge the gap between art and design. Krøyer and Sætter-Lassen’s honest focus is revealed through their consideration of material properties and tectonic details. They prefer to make the conscious choice of turning a joint or assembly into a visible design asset instead of concealing it -keeping true to the industrial way.
