Relaxed elegance
Unveiled during 3daysofdesign 2025, the Ridge Sofa marks the debut collaboration between Wendelbo and the acclaimed Copenhagen-based studio Norm Architects.
Defined by its low-slung silhouette and softly contoured form, the Ridge Sofa brings together generous comfort and quiet elegance. The sofa embodies Norm Architects’ signature approach to soft minimalism, where form follows feeling and every element has intention.

A single flange edge running along the top draws the eye, forming a subtle ridge that defines the outline and lends the sofa its name. “It’s a simple gesture,” say Norm Architects, “but one that adds a tactile structure – like a horizon line that holds the shape together, adding depth and distinction to its minimal, contemporary silhouette.” The result is a design that feels both architectural and deeply tactile.
The Ridge Sofa is available as a 2- and 3-seater, offering a sculptural yet understated presence suited to both residential and hospitality settings. Subtly elevated from the floor on a recessed wooden base, the design blends relaxed comfort with a composed, architectural presence.
