Enfold Grows: Sami Kallio Adds Seating and Tables
Finnish designer Sami Kallio has extended his Enfold collection for Swedish manufacturer Mizetto with new pieces: Enfold Bar Stool, Enfold Counter Stool, Enfold Bar Table, Enfold Dining Table, and Enfold Chair.
Together with the previously launched Enfold Armchair, the additions complete a coherent collection for hospitality, workplace and public environments.
The collection is built on a consistent formal language — recurring shapes and carefully crafted details that give each piece a distinct character while clearly belonging to the same family. Seating is stackable and can be hung from tabletops. Oak and ash are offered alongside a range of metal finishes.
The Enfold Bar Stool and Counter Stool address the range between standing height and seated comfort. The bar stool is designed for social settings where people gather briefly but need genuine support; the counter stool targets touchdown areas, café counters and collaborative workspaces where work and conversation overlap naturally.
For tables, the Enfold Bar Table and Dining Table share the same structural logic: three sculptural wooden columns rise from a powder-coated steel base plate and connect to the tabletop through matching steel brackets. The result is a central pedestal base with a clear architectural presence that frees up legroom on all sides — a practical consideration in dense hospitality or workplace settings.
Kallio describes the ambition behind the collection plainly: “Function and expression should never compete. With Enfold, the ambition was to create products that feel warm and inviting, while solving practical needs in a natural way.”
Mizetto positions Enfold for spaces where furniture must perform across different uses and over time — restaurants, hotels, offices and public interiors.
