Mattias Ljunggren took graduated from the National College of Arts, Craft and Design in Stockholm in 1990. Mattias has been involved in artistic projects, exhibitions at galleries and museums, the interior design of private and public environments, and has also worked as a furniture designer. Mattias is represented in museum collections at the National Museum (x2), the Röhsska Museeum of Arts and Crafts, the Danish Museum of Decorative Art in Copenhagen and the Museum of Decorative Art and Design in Oslo.

Skandiform has received “The Golden Chair 2005” in th category Best Product, given by the Swedish Association of Architects. The jury´s motivation is: Three materials in harmony combine their different qualities and strengths to form a comfortable and beautiful chair A simple and straightforward design where historical references are mixed with a modern, attractive form.
