Visir Multi charger designed by Pierre Sindre – Örsjö

Örsjö has released the Visir Multi charger, designed by Pierre Sindre

— a charging station that powers up to six Visir table lamps simultaneously from a single wall socket.

The Visir table lamp, which Sindre designed for Örsjö in 2021, is a cordless portable lamp modelled on the classic oil lamp typology.

Its rechargeable format made it popular in hospitality settings where flexible, cable-free table lighting is practical. The Multi charger addresses the operational reality of using Visir at scale: rather than charging lamps individually, all six can be connected and charged at once, ready to be placed as needed.

The charger is designed in raw brass and black MDF — materials consistent with the Visir lamp’s own palette. This is not a back-of-house utility object but something intended to be visible, whether on a bar counter, a sideboard, or a service station. The material choices give it the same considered character as the lamps it serves.

Pierre Sindre has built a focused body of work in collaboration with Örsjö, including the Visir table lamp, the Visir Wall sconce, and the Ambience lamp — a family of related products that share a material sensibility and a clear design logic. The Multi charger extends this system without breaking its internal coherence.

For restaurants, hotels, and event spaces using Visir as their primary table lamp, the Multi charger is a practical and visually coherent addition to the Örsjö system.
