Nordisk Möblekonst in Jönköping has invited PP Møbler and Studio Gunnar Cyrén to the annual workshop weekend this year. September 20-21.

Hans J. Wegner is the furniture master behind the Papa Bear armchair and “The Chair” made by PP Møbler in Denmark. These two days, craftmen from the PP workshop will demonstrate their work on Papa Bears and on limited editions of The Chair in teak with rattan seat.

The Swedish designer Gunnar Cyrén has, among other things, created  cutlery and drinking glasses for the Nobel Price dinner set. In 1967 Gunnar Cyrén presented his series of modern, colorful glasses named “Pop glass”. A limited re-edition Pop glasses has  been produced and will be presented by Gunnar’s son, Mårten Cyrén, also a wellknown designer.
