The ‘Doughnut’ stool (1973) is a design icon from the Archives of Magnus Olesen and one of the most eye-catching classics of the portfolio.
What the classics have in common is that they all contribute with their solid design history and design expression, redefined in new relevance in combination with new designs.
The stool can easily be combined with other classics, like e.g. ‘The Collar Chair’, as well as contemporary designs.
It is a beautiful stand-alone piece, by itself or stacked, and can conveniently be pulled to the table when additional seating is needed.
Designed by Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sørensen
