Designer Heikki Ruoho introduces the Kenno Rocker

A contemporary rocking lounge chair that masterfully balances ecological responsibility with a sophisticated sculptural silhouette.

Designed for both intimate residential settings and high-traffic public interiors, the Kenno Rocker redefines the traditional rocking chair through a lens of modern Finnish minimalism and material innovation.

The Kenno Rocker is built upon a foundation of environmental integrity. The seat is crafted in Finland from 100% recyclable polyester felt, offering a tactile, warm aesthetic that can be further customized with upholstery. Its structural plywood sides are made from PEFC-certified wood, ensuring the material is sourced from sustainably managed forests. For versatile interior integration, the wooden sides are available in various veneer or laminate finishes.

With a compact footprint ($w\:550 \times h\:680 \times d\:770$ mm), the Kenno Rocker provides a rhythmic, calming experience without overwhelming the space. It is a product where the “object’s DNA”—as Ruoho describes it—is visible in every curve, uniting industrial efficiency with the human need for motion and comfort.
