Horreds has introduced Levels, a table collection designed by Sami Kallio available in meeting, lounge and coffee table formats.
The design concept centres on varying levels, layers and shadows that interact to form the table surface — a visual approach that also informs the product’s structural logic.
The result is a piece that reads as architecturally present without dominating its surroundings.
Levels is available in multiple colours, materials and sizes, allowing the system to adapt to different spatial needs within the same interior.
The collection is designed with Horreds’ long-term philosophy in mind: furniture intended for reuse across generations, where durability and flexibility take precedence over short-cycle replacement.
Sami Kallio is a Finnish-Swedish designer based in Gothenburg, where he has run his studio since 2011. Trained as a cabinetmaker before moving into industrial design, Kallio brings a hands-on understanding of wood and material behaviour to his work. His practice focuses on the intersection of function, production logic and aesthetic clarity — a set of concerns directly visible in the Levels collection. He works with manufacturers including Horreds, &Tradition, Gemla, Fredericia, Normann Copenhagen and Mizetto, among others.
