Timeless form, expanded function: Audo reintroduces Wing Floor Lamp with new tilt mechanism.
The Wing Floor lamp is a lesson in timeless design: a piece that moves effortlessly between eras, balancing functional ingenuity with poetic form.
Created in the late 1970s by Kenneth Bergenblad, its form is at once architectural and organic, evoking the gentle sweep of a bird’s wing.

Now renewed with a subtle innovation, the updated iteration gains a tilt mechanism that enhances its already graceful adaptability. This addition allows the shade to tilt vertically or horizontally, offering precise control over light and glare and enriching the lamp’s capacity to transform space.
Crafted in polished aluminium with a white interior or bronzed aluminium with a black interior, Wing Floor Lamp profiles material integrity and lasting beauty. Without distraction — no dimmers, just a simple switch — the design invites focus on what matters: the interplay of light, form and presence. For Audo, this piece continues a tradition of preserving heritage while introducing subtle evolution. It is a reminder that design endures when it honours both its past and its potential to adapt.

About the designer
The son of a sculptor and artist, designer Kenneth Bergenblad was born in Sweden in 1944. His foray into the world of design began in his teen, where he studied cabinetmaking, completing his apprenticeship in 1965 before going on to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. Between 1970 and 1993 he worked as both a designer and interior designer at DUX, where he created the internationally acclaimed Spider chaise longue and lounge chair. Known for his elegant and modern design, combining the functional with the experimental, Bergenblad balances shapes, colours and materials into pieces that feel timeless. His work has won numerous accolades around the world, including The Guldlampen Nordisk Design prize for Wing. Today he works from his farmhouse home in southern Sweden, continuing to create designs that surprise and delight.
