Denoted by an implicit simplicity and elegance, Luca Nichetto’s new Muno lounge chairs and footstool for &Tradition exemplifies the essence of Scandinavian design while offering versatility to all forms of lounging.
Uniting the collection with a strong visual identity, Muno is characterised by its pillowy cushions and sleek, cast aluminium legs. Derived from the ancient Germanic word for thought, Mun, Nichetto’s vision for the collection was clear – to inspire moments of reflection and creativity while enveloped in a feeling of unparalleled comfort.
Luca Nichetto elaborates on the inspiration behind Muno: “Our aim was to create a versatile product that resonates in both residential and contract environments. With Muno, we’ve achieved a perfect balance of classic Scandinavian design infused with a subtle touch of luxury—creating the ideal setting to relax with your favourite drink, whether it’s a cognac or whiskey.”
Comprised of five designs, the Muno collection includes high back and low back lounge chairs that each come with or without arms, and a corresponding footstool. The cast aluminium base grounding each design can be chosen in either dark chrome or with a warm black powder-coating.
