An expressive extension of the Ovata collection, the Ovata Compact Chair by Note Design Studio pairs sculptural comfort with compact form.
Imagined as a petite yet inviting form, the Ovata Compact Chair distils the serene strength of its namesake plant into a smaller silhouette.
A snug, pleated backrest flows seamlessly into the rounded seat, creating a cocooning embrace. Though modest in footprint, the angled front ensures ample legroom, while the generous upholstery grants uncompromising comfort.
“What excites us about the Ovata Compact Chair is how it opens up new contexts for the Ovata family,” says Note Design Studio. “We imagine it working beautifully around a dining table or in restaurants, where its softness and comfort support longer sittings, while its scale and adaptability allow it to blend seamlessly into different interiors. For us, it shows how Ovata’s organic curves can be translated into a lighter, more versatile personality without losing the embracing character that defines the collection.”
Fully upholstered and softly sculptural, the Ovata Compact Chair balances expressive form with versatile function. Its compact proportions make it equally suited for hotel rooms, restaurants, and lounge areas, as well as a refined accent in the home. As part of the broader Ovata collection – spanning lounge chairs, dining tables, and dining chairs – the new compact version continues Note Design Studio’s exploration of organic curves and welcoming silhouettes.
