Akleja
Akleja is the result of a new partnership between Grythyttan Stålmöbler and the Swedish designer Jonas Bohlin. The idea for the furniture series came about during work on Tommy Myllymäki’s restaurant AIRA in Djurgården, Stockholm, which is reflected in the material and the construction, both of which are specially designed to cope with the challenging conditions of the Saltsjön shoreline.

Jonas Bohlin

Jonas Bohlin is one of the most famous designers and interior decorators in Sweden. His commissions include a number of legendary Stockholm restaurants, such as Riche, Teatergrillen and Sturehof. Back in 1981, he also designed our Concrete chair, which received the Utmärkt Svensk Form design award.
