Luca Nichetto and Ginori 1735 presented new additions to the DOMUS collection in Paris on 15 January 2026, extending a design system conceived to evolve across furniture, lighting, and objects.
The Paris presentation introduced new elements to a collection built around what Nichetto describes as a shared formal and material code — a framework that allows DOMUS to grow without losing its architectural coherence.
The collection spans indoor and outdoor settings, and is intended to extend the Ginori 1735 identity beyond porcelain into a broader material vocabulary.
Central to the presentation was the LaVenus seating family. The chair draws its silhouette from the fluid geometry of a shell, offered in an upholstered lounge version, an upholstered swivel chair, and a metal wireframe interpretation available in multiple colours. A soft cushion accompanies the piece. The family is set to expand further with a dining chair and a stool, maintaining the same formal language across different contexts.
The DOMUS project is positioned as both a design collection and a creative framework — one developed through sustained exchange between Nichetto and Ginori 1735 over design, craftsmanship, and a long-term material vision. The collection aims to define a way of living that is continuous across lounge, dining, outdoor, and office settings while retaining a consistent visual language.
Ginori 1735 is the Florentine porcelain house founded in 1735, acquired by Kering in 2013 and relaunched as a luxury lifestyle brand.
