EBON – A series by Claesson Koivisto Rune

Ebon is a series by Claesson Koivisto Rune that is based on the idea of a designer’s design expression in interaction with the glassblower’s craftsmanship. Each vase has an irregular shape, a personal expression and a certain uniqueness. The glowing glass, the force of gravity and the craftsman’s craftsmanship define the final look of each object. Depending on the lighting conditions, Ebon can either be almost mirror-reflective or appear as a black hole in the room.

Ebon är en serie av Claesson Koivisto Rune som bygger på idén om en formgivares designuttryck i samspel med glasblåsarens hantverkskunskap. Varje vas har en oregelbunden form, ett personligt uttryck och en viss unikitet. Det glödande glaset, gravitationskraften och glasarbetarens hantverkskunskap definierar det slutliga utseendet hos varje objekt. Beroende på ljusomständigheterna så kan Ebon vara antingen nästan spegel-reflekterande eller framstå som ett svart hål i rummet.
