Lammhults ATTACH table Gold winner in the
prestigious International Design Awards (IDA).
In Los Angeles, June the 16th, the innovative table system ATTACH from Lammhults, designed by Danish Troels Grum-Schwensen, was awarded Gold in the 9th annual International Design Awards, IDA, in the category Office Equipment/Furnishings/Modules. Founded in 2007, American IDA recognizes, celebrates and promotes design world-wide, within the areas Architecture, Interior, Product, Graphic and Fashion. “After many years of development, it is an honnor to see ATTACH recognized with Gold in this prize, alongside architecture and design from some of the best creatives in the world”, says designer Troels Grum-Schwensen.
Technology marries art in the construction of this impressive table. Extruded anodized recycled aluminium beams and structural recycled aluminium legs are linked under the table, secured by gravity.
Troels Grum-Schwensen has taken a novel approach to developing innovative furniture designs, where gravity locks or stabilises the structure, for decades now. Together with Lammhults, the designer has moved his philosophy to new heights with a table system that, using just a few simple basic elements, can be adapted to suit any room.

The IDA Gold Award is another important proof that the table system is highly appreciated. ATTACH consists of a frame and legs of recycled aluminium. Table tops of almost any format can be matched with this simple structure. The most common table formats can be supplied in exact sizes to suit customer requirements. Combined with a wide selection of top materials and leg colours, Lammhults is offering a mass-produced yet unique table that can be freely adapted to the specific room. ATTACH legs do not need to be screwed, threaded or twisted into position, they are easily attached and locked to the frame owing to gravity. Thanks to the simplicity of the attachment, the user can decide the position of the legs.
