Develius Coffee Table Edward van Vliet

Danish brand &Tradition expands the Develius sofa system with a new coffee table designed by Edward van Vliet.

First launched in 2018, the modular seating collection now extends into a complete lounge landscape.

The coffee table introduces a modular element that can be positioned between, in front of, or behind existing Develius sofa modules.

Built-in storage accessible from all angles allows the piece to function as a focal point or seamlessly integrated component.

Thin, precisely layered steel surfaces offer both function and visual restraint. A fine-powder coating in Ivory or Stone Grey brings subtle tactility to the understated palette. The elevated form appears to float above the floor, reducing visual bulk and preventing dust accumulation.

“The Develius family is about creating environments that can be endlessly personalised,” explains van Vliet. “With the coffee table, we have introduced a new layer to the system.”

The table works with both Develius and Develius Mellow modules, serving residential and contract environments. Edward van Vliet founded his studio in 1990 after studying at Design Academy Eindhoven.
